Start with a Defined Color and Pattern Brief
Pilevanta Carpet Tiles supports color and pattern reviews for commercial and residential carpet tile orders. We work with flooring importers, distributors, contractors and private label buyers to assess requests against available product series and production requirements.
Start with your preferred design, intended application, quantity per colorway and required delivery date. We check whether an existing collection provides a suitable starting point or whether the request needs development sampling. Custom color and pattern availability remains subject to the selected construction and minimum production run.
Provide References That Can Be Checked
A physical carpet sample or yarn reference helps define the intended color and texture. Color codes, artwork and photographs can support the initial review, but screen images alone should not serve as the final approval reference.
For patterned designs, provide dimensions, repeat size, orientation and the features that must be retained. Identify whether the priority is the background shade, accent color, stripe spacing or overall visual effect. This prevents a general request to “match the sample” from leaving important details unresolved.
Match the Design to the Carpet Construction
The same color reference can appear different across yarn types, pile textures and constructions. A textured surface may show changes in shade with viewing direction, while a patterned tile needs review at both individual-tile and assembled-layout levels.
We assess the proposed design alongside the selected fiber and yarn materials. A color or pattern change should not be treated as proof that other specifications remain unchanged. Any associated construction changes must be recorded, including their effect on sampling and applicable technical documentation.
Confirm Pattern Direction and Tile Layout
A pattern should be evaluated in the intended installation arrangement. Provide the proposed tile size and indicate whether directional alignment, alternating orientation or another layout is required. Feasibility depends on the selected series.
For stripes and geometric designs, clarify whether the pattern must align across tile edges or is intended to create a varied modular effect. Sample review should include adjacent tiles where necessary. Do not assume that a single small swatch demonstrates the appearance of a complete floor.
Approve Physical Samples Before Bulk Production
Existing colorways and newly developed designs follow different preparation routes. Sample availability, charges and timing are confirmed after the design brief is reviewed with the responsible production facility.
Through carpet tile sample development, confirm color, texture, pattern scale and direction under agreed viewing conditions. Keep an approved reference with its model, color code and specification version. Changes after approval require renewed confirmation and may affect cost or scheduling.
Plan Colorway Quantities and Batch Control
MOQ is assessed by series and colorway. Dividing an order across several custom colors may create separate minimum-run requirements. Quotation also depends on material preparation, design complexity and sample revisions.
During bulk order planning, agree how color references, pattern direction and batch appearance will be checked. Record batch identification on the approved carton labels. Repeat orders require a fresh availability and color review; an earlier sample does not guarantee an identical shade from a later batch.
What We Need for a Quote
Send your reference sample or artwork, required tile size, fiber and backing preferences, pattern dimensions, quantity per colorway and intended application. Include packaging requirements, destination, shipping term and target delivery date.
We will review the matching series, development feasibility, sample route and production conditions before confirming quotation details.
