Manufacturing Support for Trade and Project Orders
Pilevanta supplies commercial and residential carpet tiles to importers, distributors, contractors and private label buyers. We coordinate product requirements with the responsible production facility, connecting approved specifications with manufacturing, inspection and export packing.
Production arrangements depend on the selected series, construction and order quantity. Before confirming an OEM order, we review which requirements can follow an existing construction and which need sample development or further technical assessment.
Establishing the Production Specification
A reference sample helps communicate appearance, but production also needs a written specification. Fiber type, pile construction, tile dimensions, backing, color reference and packaging requirements should be identified together.
Total thickness and pile height need separate descriptions. Pile weight and total tile weight must also remain distinct. These details affect material selection, product comparison and quotation accuracy.
Our carpet tile sample development process provides a reference for confirming the construction before bulk production proceeds.
Yarn and Material Preparation
Yarn selection influences texture, appearance and the options available for color development. We review the requested fiber and color against the proposed product series rather than assuming every combination is interchangeable.
The color preparation route depends on the yarn and manufacturing method. A physical reference is preferable when matching matters, since screen images cannot reliably communicate shade or texture. Material identification and lot references help connect production materials with the approved specification.
Pile Formation and Surface Review
For tufted carpet tile constructions, yarn is formed through a primary backing to create the specified surface. Loop pile, cut pile and patterned constructions require different development considerations; availability must be confirmed for the selected series.
Pile height alone does not define the finished appearance. Yarn characteristics, construction and surface density also influence how a tile looks beside its approved sample.
Surface review considers visible irregularities, pattern consistency and directional appearance before subsequent processing.
Backing Application and Lamination
Backing connects the carpet surface with the finished tile structure. The proposed backing must be reviewed alongside the face construction, intended application and agreed specification.
Depending on the series, production may involve coating, lamination and the necessary setting or conditioning stages before cutting. Changes in backing can affect total thickness, weight, handling and packing.
Our backing coating and lamination overview explains the details buyers should confirm when reviewing a proposed construction.
Cutting, Sizing and Edge Finishing
Once the material is ready for conversion, cutting establishes the finished tile dimensions and shape. Buyers should confirm nominal dimensions, agreed tolerances and any installation direction requirements before production.
Checks consider squareness, edge condition and how neighboring tiles align. Where the design is directional, a multi-tile layout helps review the intended installation effect.
A reference layout should distinguish between patterns intended to align and designs intended for a more varied appearance.
Inspection Against the Approved Reference
Inspection needs an agreed reference, rather than a general instruction to check quality. Relevant points include color, pile appearance, dimensions, backing condition, edge finish and product identification.
The final quality inspection scope should reflect the order specification and any agreed sampling arrangement. Third-party inspection requirements should be discussed before scheduling.
Visual inspection does not establish fire, emissions or other performance claims. Where reports are requested, their applicability must be checked against the product and construction being ordered.
Flat Packing and Export Preparation
Finished tiles are packed flat in cartons suited to the confirmed product. Tile count, coverage, carton dimensions and weight depend on the construction and packing arrangement.
Labels should identify the agreed model, color and batch information. Private label artwork requires approval before use. Carton details and packing lists should correspond so the buyer can identify goods on arrival.
Our packaging and export preparation page covers the information needed before shipment.
What We Need for a Quote
Send your reference sample or product brief, intended application, dimensions, fiber preference, pile and backing requirements, colors and estimated quantity per design.
Include sample needs, branding files, carton requirements, destination and preferred shipping terms. We can then review feasibility, quotation scope, sample arrangements and the proposed production schedule. MOQ and lead time require confirmation for the selected construction and order mix.
